consecutive

We use ‘consecutive’ to describe something which follows in order.

Numbers which follow each other in order, from least to greatest, are an example. Such numbers are known as consecutive numbers.

For example, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.

16, 18, 20, 24, 26 are consecutive even numbers.

25, 30, 35, 40, 45 are consecutive multiples.
