polygon
A polygon is a plane shape formed by a number of connecting straight lines.
In order to name a polygon we count the number of sides. For example, octagon is the name for an eight-sided polygon.
A polygon can be convex or concave, regular or irregular.
At any of the polygon’s vertices, the interior angle and exterior angle will come to a total of 180°.
