If we compare two numbers, we can say that one number is greater than the other. We use the > sign to show this.
For example, 5 > 4 means 5 is greater than 4.
The greatest number is always written first.
The picture shows a set of values greater than 3.
The opposite of ‘greater than’ is ‘less than’.
