greater than or equal to

Sign: ≥

If we compare a set of values, we can say that the numbers in the set are greater than or equal to a specific number. We use the ≥ sign to show this.

For example, ≥ 5. 7 satisfies this condition because 7 is greater than 5. Also satisfying this condition is 5 because it is equal to 5.

The opposite of ‘greater than or equal to’ is ‘less than or equal to’.
