ascending order

Numbers arranged from the least to the greatest are arranged in ascending order. In other words, the numbers increase.

For example, 4, 7, 1, 9, 3, 5 in ascending order is 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9.

Objects can also be placed in ascending order.

For example, the picture shows trees which have been planted in ascending order.
