months of the year

This is the term used for the months which form a whole year.

There are 12 months in a year. Below is a list of the months and the number of days in each month. In order of occurrence, they are:

    • January (31 days)
    • February (28 or 29 days)
    • March (31 days)
    • April (30 days)
    • May (31 days)
    • June (30 days)
    • July (31 days)
    • August (31 days)
    • September (30 days)
    • October (31 days)
    • November (30 days)
    • December (31 days).

During a normal year, there are usually 28 days in February. But, if it’s a leap year, there are 29 days in February. A leap year happens every four years.
