decimal
This is the name given to a fractional part – tenth, hundredth, thousandth and so on – after a decimal point.
For example, in the number 32.5 the decimal is 5 – this is the digit which follows the decimal point.
There are two different types of decimals:

(1) terminating decimal
(2) recurring decimal.
